ABOUT LESSONS
Voice Lessons &
Beginner to Intermediate Piano
I am passionate about teaching music and cultivating the talent of others. I believe that music and singing are wonderful gifts meant to be shared. My purpose in voice and piano lessons is to help students of all ages and experience levels build a solid musical foundation while developing their musicality and performance skills. My goal is to inspire my students through music and help them reach their personal musical goals.
I strive to nurture each student’s potential as they discover their unique strengths and gifts. In voice lessons, I focus on helping students sing with a strong, healthy vocal technique. In piano lessons, I aim to build a solid foundation that allows students to grow confidently as they develop new skills.
During our first lesson—and as lessons progress—I want to hear from you about your musical goals. By doing so, we can shape lessons that are focused, meaningful, and personalized. Each lesson is designed to strengthen your natural abilities and encourage you as you move toward your goals.
Musicians are storytellers and communicators. Through melody, harmony, and rhythm, we express emotion and connect with others. That’s why I believe music is essential to who we are—it’s part of being human. Training should always serve the art form, not take away from it. I believe that quality music education and private instruction are valuable at every level, from beginner to advanced. Our goal is to create a sound that is sustainable and expressive—to learn how to consistently and healthily make the sounds we want, so that we can tell meaningful stories through our music.
No matter your age, current skill level, fears, or past experiences, music is for you. Let music rise from the joy within you—from the joy of singing or playing. You’ll be amazed at what you can do when you give yourself the chance to try.

YOU ARE FAR MORE CAPABLE THAN YOU IMAGINED
Are YOU willing to believe in yourself enough to try?
Being singer, musician, lifetime learner, and teacher has taught me a lot through the years.
It has taught me that mistakes are ok, and in fact necessary and useful tools for learning.
It has taught me that perfection is not possible or necessary. In fact, I think we are able to connect more with others out of our imperfections rather than flawless knowledge or performances.
It has taught me that growth is absolutely possible, but it will often take more time than we are used to expecting in our fast paced society.
It has taught me that setbacks may happen, but so much goodness can happen when you don’t give up.
It has taught me that daily diligence, good habits, and a healthy mindsets can absolutely change your growth pattern.
It has taught me to change inaccurate thought patterns and self-limiting beliefs that I learned from what culture says about music and art.
It has taught me to be careful of who or what words I let speak into or ‘define’ me.
It has taught me to trust who I am created to be more so than what others tell me I should be.
It has taught me to see weaknesses as opportunities for growth.
It has taught me that I am capable of far more than I once thought or believed.
That is why I believe in my students so much. That is why I believe that growth is possible. In fact, I have seen students, who have difficult challenges that others might not have, absolutely soar, excel, and succeed!
The big question I have for you is, are YOU willing to believe in yourself enough to try?

Personalized Attention
As an experienced and passionate Music Teacher, I believe in an approach that gives students positive, constructive ways to learn. I design my lessons according to my students’ needs, with an emphasis on confidence-boosting activities.

MEET ME
As an Educator, I am passionate about studying Vocal Pedagogy to best equip my students to achieve their vocal goals. I teach singers of various backgrounds, styles, ages, and levels, and I love helping them build strong, healthy technique that creates confidence, balance, expanded range, and expressive performance skills. In lessons, I work with students on developing many aspects of singing such as registration, phrasing, musical expression, auditioning, and stage presence.
In addition to private teaching, I have led vocal workshops with worship teams, equipping singers to use their voices with freedom and confidence in a contemporary worship context. I also host a podcast called On Key, where I discuss music-related topics—sometimes solo, and sometimes with guests—from artistry and performance to teaching and creative growth.
As a Piano Teacher for beginner to intermediate students, I enjoy introducing musicians to foundational skills such as music theory, chords, note reading, and musicality.
Above all, I strive to help students find joy and confidence in their music—whether they’re preparing for a performance or audition, or simply want to sing their favorite songs with freedom. My students have successfully performed in showcases, community and school musicals, and have earned spots in esteemed singing groups and worship teams.
